Adding A Hyperlink
To add a hyperlink, simply either type the text you wish to make a link, or insert an image. It's done the same way for both.

Highlight the text or image you wish to make a link with your mouse.

Click the link icon. In the image below, a "hand" cursor is over the correct icon. Just in case you're unsure which icon to click.

This window will open up:

Type in the URL you wish to link to.

And voila! You have a hyperlink.

The steps in the video are EASILY adaptable to working with ANY HTML page, like a template you bought, one you made yourself in this product, or one that someone designed for you.
Please Note: The special page fx were added to a template page to show you just how simple it can be to adapt the steps in the Design Dashboard to practically ANY web page.

Add Handwritten Notes To Your Pages |
Step 1.1:
Write out personal notes in a text editor to add to your web like, like these:
Step 1.2:
Highlight the text by clicking EDIT > SELECT ALL.
Step 1.3:
Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and hit the "C" key on the keyboard to COPY the text, then open up Elements.
Step 1.4:
When you have elements open, go to FILE, then click NEW and create a document to fit the amount of text you have.

Step 1.5:
When the document is open, click the Type tool and click on your document.
Step 1.6:
Then hit CTRL and V on your keyboard to PASTE the text into the document.
Format the text so it fits in the available space and Increase/Decrease the font size according to how much space there is.
Step 1.7:
Take the PEN TOOL and add a hand drawn arrow to the image, or take the PEN TOOL and get a big thick fat stroke, change the foreground color to yellow and create a new layer with the mode set to MULTIPLY, then hold down the SHIFT key and drag across the text you want to highlight.
When you're done you should have handwritten notes that you can add to your web page that looks something like these:
Step 1.8:
Save the graphic as writtennote1.gif and save the image in the "My Web Site" folder
Step 1.9:
When you're done creating the handwritten notesjust open FirstPage, open your web page and go to where you want to embed the image and click INSERT > IMAGE QUICKLY and insert the .gif image into your page.
Step 1.10:
When the image has been inserted into your page, it should look something like this:

Step 2.1:
Write out your personal guarantee for the product or service you are selling in a text editor like this:

Step 2.2:
Highlight the text by clicking EDIT > SELECT ALL.

Step 2.3:
Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and hit the "C" key on the keyboard to COPY the text, then open up Elements.
Step 2.4:
When you have elements open, go to FILE, then click NEW and create a document no larger than 475 pixels wide by 200 pixels high.

Step 2.5:
When the document is open, click the Type tool and click on your document.
Step 2.6:
Then hit CTRL and V on your keyboard to PASTE the text into the document.
format the text so it fits in the available space and Increase/Decrease the font size according to how much space there is.
Step 2.7:
When you're done you should have a guarantee on your web page that looks something like this:

Step 2.8:
Save the graphic as myguarantee.gif and save the image in the "My Web Site" folder
Step 2.9:
When you're done creating the guarantee just open FirstPage, open your web page and go down to the bottom where you are stating the guarantee and click INSERT > IMAGE QUICKLY and insert the myguarantee.gif image into your page.
Step 2.10 :
When the image has been inserted into your page, it should look something like this:

Step 3.1: Open Elements and click FILE > NEW and create a new document that is sized between 140 and 150 pixels wide by 40 to 45 pixels high.

Step 3.2: Click the TYPE TOOL and type your name in the available space, like this:

Step 3.3:
Highlight the text and then go to the FONT OPTIONS bar and change the font type to something that looks like as if it's been handwritten.

In the example above the font isn't the best option, so I'm going to go and get some fonts that look handwritten. To do the same, just go to the GET FONTS section in the dashboard and follow those steps.
Step 3.4:
When you're done creating the signature, save it in .gif format to your hard drive. Use the "Save For Web" instructions if you're not sure how to save the image.
To add it to your page just open FirstPage, open your web page and go down to the bottom where you end the letter and click INSERT> IMAGE QUICKLY and insert the .gif image into your page.
Step 3.5:
When the image has been inserted into your page, it should look something like this:
